God gave me back what I had lost...

I want to let everyone know that ChristianMingle is a truly Christian site and men and women committed to God are drawn to it with rare exceptions.

I signed as a member a long time ago. I started friendly communication with a few committed sincere Christians. Last year I contacted Counseling, he didn't show much interest and I was ready to quit my search for a godly man that
was ready for a serious long term relationship.
In February, I wrote him again and asked, "Have you met someone at ChristianMingle?" He answered right away, "No, please call me." I did call him the same day and after that we started talking on the phone for 2 to 3 hours a day. He was living in Canada and I lived in Orlando. He told me on the phone, "God has something to do through our lives and He wants to do it fast". After a month,
he decided to fly down to Florida to meet me and my family; my parents were here because my daughter was getting married. After we met, he said, "I am ready for what the Lord has for us, are you?" I said, "Not yet". He kept talking about marriage and I was scared of making a wrong decision. I placed several fleeces before the Lord and all of them were answered positively.

After 3 months, we met and decided to get married with the assurance God was the One guiding us. We married on May 9th and had a honeymoon in the Bahamas and after two weeks, we went to Brazil. He preached in three different churches and I translated. Now six month has passed and we are
working for the kingdom of God together, my life is not the same after losing a husband of 26 years in marriage. God gave me back what I had lost; a friend, a lover, company, a partner, a coworker, and much more....My family, grown children, and friends, see clearly what the Lord has done.

I want to encourage each one of you to keep searching through ChristianMingle, but with the mind of Christ to see if what is coming is from God or not. Just trust Him and He will fulfill the desire of your heart.

He will be 60 years old and I will be 57 at the end of the year. It is never too late to start when we let God be the pilot of the ship of our lives. Honor and Glory to Him and Him alone.

We are Happily in love with each other...

I just wanted to send ya'll a big kudos for a great website where True Christians can mingle among other Christians. Back in April I stumbled upon an awesome woman of God. We met on a whim 3 days after talking online, now 2500 miles (we live 2 hours apart) and almost 7 months later (Nov 25), we are Happily in love with each other and most important, we are completely in love with Jesus, who shows all what true love is and should be. We both know that we were blessed through God to have each other. We talk seriously about marriage and how we can't wait until we can.

I was very weary of trying Christian Mingle, but something pressed me to go ahead with it. After being on a week, I seen a gorgeous young lady on here and was nervous to say anything. Although, without hesitation, I sent a smile. Upon the ecstatic moment of receiving a smile back, I began messaging her. It wasn't long before I got her number. After talking, we both found out that we joined the same time and only bought a one month subscription. Just as the subscriptions were running out, we had finally met. Our love was stronger than the distance we faced.

I found my love half way around the world and she was truly worth going the distance. We found each other on ChristianMingle and began to chat. Shortly after that, we started to use Yahoo video and audio chat, and we discovered a love that was stronger than the distance that we faced. Eight months later, I flew from Key West Florida to Macau (China) to meet my love for the first time. We then flew to Manila to celebrate her birthday. After proposing to her on her birthday, she told me that was what she wished for when she blew out the candles.

I have a woman of my dreams...

Thank you for the ChristianMingle site. Today I have a woman of my dreams because of your website. It was in April of 2005 when I came across a profile that attracted my attention. Her username was simutinta and after reading her profile, I decided to send a smile. She also sent back a smile. Then a day came when we were both on-line and so we started chatting. We chatted again the following days until we got interested in each other, as I saw we were both Born Again Christians. Then we exchanged personal contact information. We sent each other emails and photos and I called her once a week. After many weeks of talking to each other, we became friends and after months we became lovers.

In November of 2005, we decided to meet and agreed on who would travel. She agreed to travel to Athens from her country Zambia. I waited for her at the airport. We stayed at a hotel for 12 days and and slept in different beds. In February of 2007, I went to Zambia to meet her relatives and the following year in April of 2008, we got married here in Athens and she has since relocated to Greece. We are a happy couple so far.
